The youngest of three children, German actress Bettina Engelhardt was raised by parents who were both in the sciences. That didn’t hinder her love of the arts leading to her attending a fine arts college in Berlin after high school. While in college she began acting in plays in Berlin and Weimar and was invited to join the German Schauspielhaus Hamburg theater group as soon as she graduated. Bettina has remained very active in the theater, even while putting together a very impressive film and TV resume.
